You are in the best position to observe your child day to day. If some of what you notice raises questions, dedicated services exist in France: and acting early makes a difference, without waiting for a diagnosis.
Your family doctor, your paediatrician or the PMI (mother and child health service) are your first points of contact. Describe what you observe day to day (language, interactions, play, motor skills, sleep) they can examine your child and refer you appropriately.
With a referral from your doctor, the coordination and referral platforms (PCO TND) organise early interventions for children aged 0 to 12, without waiting for a diagnosis and with no upfront costs. Your doctor knows the platform for your area.
Autisme Info Service answers your questions free of charge. The « Agir tôt » campaign offers short videos, age by age, to help you put words on what you observe.
Autiract is not a screening tool: the platform comes in afterwards, when a team forms around your child, helping parents and professionals coordinate goals, activities and observations.

I track my goals during the session, in the app: I no longer need thirty-six scoring sheets and binders, and when I write a report at home, I have everything on the computer. Parents have access to my goals, can work on them at home and log it, and it works like a news feed on the child's page. As for me, I always want to be transparent with parents.
It's a place for exchange that can really let us look at the child as a whole, and above all support the child with concrete goals. […] It's a tool that is starting to become really important in my routine. It saves me time.
D'abord, je voulais vraiment remercier ce couple de parents, qui sont aussi très professionnels, et qui ont créé cette application, qui a vraiment changé la façon dont je prends en charge les mamans bleues. C'est comme ça que j'appelle les mamans qui font des guidances parentales avec moi, parce qu'on peut vraiment échanger.
On est en train de construire vraiment un réseau. Et pourquoi j'ai dit un réseau ? Parce que là-dedans, on peut intégrer d'autres professionnels, et c'est vraiment le réseau qui va pouvoir appuyer l'enfant autiste à avancer.
En plus de ça, je pense que les caractéristiques qui ont été prises en compte pour construire l'application, c'était vraiment au top, parce qu'on peut trouver là-dedans tout : l'agenda de l'enfant, les objectifs, et les parents peuvent nous envoyer, ils peuvent écrire sur la journée de l'enfant. C'est un endroit d'échange qui peut permettre de vraiment regarder l'enfant dans sa globalité, et surtout de pouvoir accompagner l'enfant avec des objectifs concrets.
Et en fait, moi, en tant qu'analyste du comportement, j'ai travaillé avec l'ABA. C'est un outil qui commence à être vraiment, vraiment important dans ma routine. Ça me fait gagner du temps, et mon objectif, c'est d'intégrer de plus en plus les mamans là-dedans, pour qu'on puisse avoir aussi une tranquillité quand on pense à cette charge mentale qu'est la prise en charge d'un enfant autiste.
